Meet The Team

Shayan Gupta
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Shayan leads the product roadmap strategy, development, innovations to meet user needs. His interest in the OTC legislation led to founding the company in 2018, as a freshman at Carnegie Mellon University. His BS/MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering, with specialized signal processing research, and his BS in Biomedical Engineering provide expertise for hardware and software engineering and product quality. His involvement with the Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship informs his business strategy role and external partnerships.

Sean Bukich
Lead Mobile App Developer
Sean leads App development to enable safe listening and self-care. He is an experienced iOS engineer specializing in building Apps for people with disabilities. He has extensive knowledge of Bluetooth and networking technologies, allowing him to create user-centric applications that are both accessible and inclusive. Sean has a BS from Arizona State University with certification from California Institute for Applied Technology.

Richard Laskin
Co-Chief Financial Officer
Richard co-leads the financial strategy for the company. With over 30 years of experience as a financial advisor, Richard provides critical insights into the overall company growth strategy and assessing strategic partnerships. He has a BS in Finance from Seton Hall University and is on the advisory team at Cetera Financial Group.

Elry Cramer
Advisor, Manufacturing
Elry advises on sourcing prototypes to production as well as providing manufacturing advice and acting as a local contact for the manufacturer. Elry is a Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative (CPMR) and assists the growth of startups by recommending the best manufacturing processes, design for manufacturing that are scalable and value engineering. Elry graduated from Carnegie Mellon University, has worked in the US Navy.

Nicole Rucker
Chief Operations Officer
Nicole oversees timely and efficient management of projects. logistics and effective communication within the US and outside-US teams. She manages company communications with attention to promotion compliance. Nicole holds a BS in Accounting and Business from the University of Maryland and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. She brings over ten years of experience in Project Management in various for-profit and non-profit industries.

Elora Gupta
Regulatory & Safety Officer
Elora is responsible for alignment with FDA regulations and has led several FDA meetings on the ATLAS OTC program. As the Safety Officer, her focus is on Hearing Conservation and overall safety. Elora is the primary author for all instructional and educational content. Elora has spent several decades in the drug and medical device industries. She has a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Ohio State University and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Chicago, School of Medicine. She has certifications in Occupational Hearing Conservation and Advanced Safety from OSHA Training Institutes.

Nisha Nadkarni
User Interface & Graphics
Nisha works on graphic design with the objective to optimize the user experience and learning. Nisha has worked several years as a graphics designer for several companies and holds a BS in Visualization, with a minor in Communications, from Texas A&M University.

Sunjeev Kale
Advisor, Marketing Strategy
Sunjeev advises on business development and commercialization strategies. With a background in engineering, he focuses on supply chains and manufacturing operations. Sunjeev has a BS in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.

Jon Hodgkins
Principal Hardware Engineer
Jon leads the external and internal hardware designs with attention to user needs, durability and manufacturability. Jon also designs innovative solutions to support activities of daily living of specific user populations. Jon has BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and is adjunct faculty at Illinois Institute of Technology. His expertise is in full service product design across a wide range of consumer and medical products.

Craig Haber
Co-Chief Financial Officer
Craig co-leads the financial strategy for the company. He is involved with planning for growth opportunities for the products and personnel and evaluating external partnerships. He is a partner and investment advisor at Brunswick Wealth Management. He holds his securities registrations through Cetera Financial Group. Craig graduated with a BS with a concentration in Finance from West Chester University.

Jeff Boyatt
Advisor, Occupational Safety
Jeff advises the occupational hearing conservation program and products. He also assists in developing occupational safety training and education. He has over 40 years in construction, mining, and manufacturing industries developing safety and environmental programs and cultures that are based on (zero) “0” incidents, (zero) “0” violations, and audit ready. Jeff was an authorized OSHA trainer and has several certifications including lean manufacturing, continuous Improvement, predictive and preventive maintenance. Jeff has a degree in Environmental Health Sciences with a Waste Management emphasis from Roane State Community College.
